Tropical Kansas

In this absurdist satire, a fruit technician's quest for a rare orange in Cambodia becomes a metaphor for the problematic history of United States involvement. During the Vietnam War, the United States secretly conducted a massive bombing campaign in Cambodia, dropping 2.7 million tons of bombs on the country between 1965 and 1973 killing an estimated 150,000 to 500,000 Cambodian civilians. The film offers a thought-provoking exploration of consequences and absurdities ultimately questioning the aims and failures of geopolitical interventions.

Klim

In the enigmatic narrative of KLIM, a man's inexplicable illness unfolds within the ambiguous confines of a domestic setting. As his symptoms intensify, the once-familiar surroundings take on an increasingly disquieting aura, exacerbating the protagonist's predicament. The narrative deftly navigates a descent from bad to worse, weaving a tale that blurs the lines between the psychological and the physical. The ominous progression of the protagonist's ailment mirrors the deepening unease within his surroundings, creating a captivating exploration of the symbiotic relationship between internal and external turmoil.
